Libeth ParraWhat I do…

I am a bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker providing services to individuals, adolescents, children, and families.

I specialize in supporting bilingual families, addressing generational trauma, and working with children and families impacted by disabilities, as well as children involved in the foster care system.

My background…

I began my education in Human Services at Norwalk Community College and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Western Connecticut State University.

Later, I obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work, with a minor in Clinical Practice from Southern Connecticut State University.

This is where I participated in the National CSWE Substance Use Disorder Education and Leadership Scholar (SUDEALS) Program and received the Connecticut Horizon Grant.

My professional experience includes working with the unhoused population, high-risk adolescents and individuals experiencing substance misuse; my experience was furthered by working with children and families involved in foster care.

I recognized the need for bilingual providers, which drives my commitment to serve the Hispanic/Latinx community.

I provide bilingual therapeutic services in both in-person and remote settings.

Working together…

I am deeply committed to serving my community and supporting each client; my attention to detail is as strong in family cases as it is in individual cases.

I believe that having at least one safe and trusted person is a necessity for personal growth and healing.

I strive to be a source of support for my clients. It’s been my ability to help people in need that has driven my passion in Social Work. It is by providing a compassionate space where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered to seek guidance, ask questions, and explore their goals, that I’ve become successful at resolving cases.

I am dedicated to helping clients build understanding, strengthen motivation, and achieve meaningful goals—both large and small. Helping my clients improve their lives is something I’ve always found fulfilling and purposeful—it’s the reason I get up every morning so excited to go to work.
